Cliche Mom

I firmly believe that the statement that has been coming out of my mouth is purely cliche. You want to know what I have been saying? It is this: "Oh my god, my baby is getting so big!" And as all of you parents know, it sort of pops out of nowhere and hits you hard.
I guess what started it is the fact that my daughter now just seems so grown up. And it makes me so incredibly proud!It seems like she decided to be independent overnight. Sitting up and drinking her sippy, exploring without fear. And just needing me when she wants a diaper change, bath, or food. Sometimes it feels like I can have a mumbo-jumbo conversation with her. And i cherish every moment of it.
She is my world. And Oh is it great.
