"What to Eat" Pad Review and Giveaway [CLOSED]

US ONLY

I don't know about you... but I never know what my family is going to eat during the day. And it can get really annoying. But when I got the opportunity to try the "What to Eat" pad from KnockKnock, I was excited to see how well it worked! When I first opened my package and saw the notepads I though they were really nice! They are sturdy and have a nice magnet on the back so you can easily stick it on your fridge to remind you to plan ahead! Speaking12018_What-to-Eat_ of planning ahead, it is not something I have ever done, and I now know I should have started doing it a lot soon. Over the last week or so I have been trying to break my habit of never planning a meal ahead of time, and it has been hard. But the "What to Eat" pads really helped me along the way, it is super easy to use them. They are flexible enough to plan ahead of time by one day, or even one week! For me it was much easier to plan each day separately, because some days I really want mashed potatoes, and the next day I don't! So it works well in my household. My husband even started using them.. by crossing out the things I had planned and making his own substitutions. Hey! That is completely O.K. with me until he crossed off my french bread for more meat! Huge no-no!

These pads have a great detailed layout, including the following:

  • "Week of" section

  • "Master Chef" So you know whose cooking!

  • "Dinner" side which includes everyday of the week and whether or not you are "dining in", "dining out", or getting "take out"

  • A section for "Breakfasts", "Lunches" and "Dinners" with enough space for the whole week.

My experiences this this was great. I trained myself into planning every meal. And to be honest it cut a lot of time out of my day that was previously being used trying to figure out what we were going to eat. And to me that seems a bit crazy... how can one simple pad of paper help make my life so much easier? Well I do not know how to answer that question, I just know that it works and I want to be able to share this with you.

You can buy these pads at KnockKnocks website, they go for $7.50 and are worth every penny!

Thanks to KnockKnock I am able to give away one "What to Eat" pad. It really helped me out, and I am sure it can free up some time for you!

We never know what we are eating until my husband gets home from work. We often end up eating out more than we'd like to because of this. I try to plan what we need at the grocery store but it always seems I remember everything but dinners. Shampoo, yes. Meat, no. My husband ends up doing several little extra trips to the store each week. I really need to start planning in order to save us time and money.

Meal time? HA! I am so super busy all of the time I am always figuring things out last minute. I used to be good at making a menu and sticking to it. Right now...not so much!

Excellent note pad. I always have random cravings and when it comes time for dinner I can't pick out what I want. The note pad would allow me to write my cravings in the slots and put them together for a meal.

I love this pad! I used to make something similar and writing it down really helps. Would love to win this to keep from saying "Honey, we're getting pizza tonight"!

Meal time is extremely hectic at our house with 4 school age children in various activities. We eat out a lot because I have failed to plan meals. I think this meal planner pad would be a huge help and would save us money since it is a lot cheaper to eat at home.

My husband now does the shopping for me due to health issues and I have a big problem trying to decide how to cook the meats he buys. When I did the shopping I know exactly when I was going to I was going to use the meat for. I had a meal plan. This pad would really help me out in figuring out how to use the meat he brings home. I never know what he will get.

Meal time just got more hectic with the birth of our second child. Feeding a baby and a toddler and two adults is an adventure each night.

I really need to start planning meals better. Nothing ever sounds appetizing. Maybe if I planned a menu in advance I wouldn't be staring in the fridge and freezer at 5pm wondering what to make. (Eggs again..)

Mealtime has been so crazy lately with everyone having different extracurricular activities. I would love to be able to plan ahead and be organized so I can prepare dinner ahead of time and not be scrambling to put a healthy meal on the table every night.

OMG I have 4 teens/ tweens. Everyone always has something going on. I make a weekly menu to make shopping easier, so everyone will know what we are eating. Besides holidays we are never all home at the same time to all sit at the table. I miss it.
