Imagine Artist Review
Here is a fun fact, I have always loved art. So much that as a child I collected paint sets and tried my hardest to keep them clean and neat. I even placed 2nd in a art competition in second grade! My niece lives with me and her DS is her favorite thing to play with, and she takes better care of it than most children do. She was really excited to play this game, she doesn't have many games. And this was her first game that was actually targeted towards her gender and age.The first thing she told me she loved is how the game shows you how to mix colors and create new ones.
I remember her exact words "I remember being taught about mixing colors, but I could never remember. Now I have a reminder!" She loved the game so much, she would not even let me have a turn to gain my own opinion of it. But that is okay, I don't have my own DS so she would have been with out hers, and that would not have been good! There are many cool features to this game, you play a young apprentice to a woman who owns an art studio. The tasks you do while in game play start off easy, then gradually get harder. You follow a 6 week calendar,
each day with new activities. You can also save your artwork and upload it online. There are so many fun things to do with this game, it is perfect for kids aged 6 to 14. It would be a great Christmas gift for any young girl.
