Late July Review

I hate to admit this... but I am a complete sucker for a good cookie. Now that goes without saying, because if you are like me all it takes is a home made warm chocolate chip cookie to brighten up your day. (Ok, so I sound like an emotional eater -- who cares?!) But you know what I find better than that? Two cookies, with a yummy cream in the middle. But I am not as easy going with this as chocolate chip, there are too many kinds of decked cookies and to be honest some of them stink.

I knew from the moment I stumbled across the Late July website, and after browsing around that I would love their cookies. I was asked to try their new Endangered Animal Mini Sandwich Cookies, and I knew I was in trouble... there is that double decked cookie with the yummy cream frosting in the middle that I was talking about. Either I would love it with all my heart, or I would really dislike it. Only time would tell.

When I got the package in the mail, I was ready to take the test. When I opened the box I realized I would have the pleasure to try more than just the cookies. There were samples of a bunch of their other products as well, and you bet I threw them in my purse to eat when I am out and about. Now, I am much more of a chocolate cream fan than vanilla cream. So that is when I made a plan with my husband, I would much on the chocolate filled cookies, and he could pig out on the vanilla filled cookies at my daughters first birthday party. Well, I am sad to say I only got to eat about two cookies (although I loved them.) My daughter got one taste of those cookies, and she went crazy! She had chocolate drool coming out of her mouth and all over her yellow onesie. So we only had one box for the party, but they were definitely a hit.

All story telling aside, I absolutely love this product. Not only are they delicious, but they are organic and all natural. Which means better for our planet, and everyone around us. Late July is a family operated business, the owners two sons helped design these endangered animal cookies. Everything about Late July is genuine and loyal. I will forever be a fan, not to mention they created an amazing sandwich cookie that I loved! Now that is impressive!

You can buy these cookies,  as well as other fun product at ShopLateJuly.com, and help support this family owned and operated business!
