Cuisinart Rice Plus™ Multi-Cooker with Fuzzy Logic Technology Review

Every family has their traditions and their favorite foods to eat, and for my family it has always been rice. White rice, brown rice, sticky rice… rice pilaf! We have rice with 99% of all our meals. But the problem we had is this: we have never owned our own rice cooker. We made rice the old fashioned way, in a pot.

Ever since the rice cooker arrived, we have had much more fun making dinner, and lunch, and breakfast. I have been reviewing the Cuisinart Rice Plus™ Multi-Cooker with Fuzzy Logic Technology, which has made every difference to my family dinners. I do not know if anybody has ever had experience making rice in a pot, but sometimes you do not get the best results, and it is hard to gauge precisely if you have made the right measurements. So you can have a complete rice disaster if one thing is off, if you put too much water, there is no way to salvage your mushy rice. If you do not put enough water, you will not be able to eat without the fear of chipping a tooth on the undercooked grains. Let me tell you, I did not get bad results once while using this rice cooker. It is designed with Fuzzy Logic Technology, which provides perfect results every time. This appliance also has pre-programmed settings for all kinds of different rice and foods, such as:

  • White Rice
  • Sushi Rice
  • Brown Rice
  • Risotto
  • Oatmeal
  • Slow Cooking
  • Steaming
  • Soup
  • Quick Cooking
  • Reheat Feature

This is why I loved this rice/multi-cooker , it made me feel like I can actually leave it on top of my counter. I can put away the crock pot, and pots and pans. It is an appliance that makes every ones lives a lot easier by doing so many things. I know rice is delicious and all, but you have not lived until you have tried the oatmeal this cooker makes, it was the perfect consistency. It was not too runny or too thick, you can add your favorite flavors right in the cooker such as brown sugar or honey. It will not go cold because you leave it out, the warming feature and lid will keep it moist and heated.

These amazing cookers are available on the Cuisinart website, for $179.99. It is a great investment and it is like getting five or six appliances in one. A great addition to any home.

My niece put a rice cooker on her wedding gift registry! Now that I know what they are I'll be more apt to get one for her! Great Review!

I have seen these before, they look so cool. We eat a lot of rice, and have an old Rice Cooker, which I know is going to go soon, so I've been looking at new ones. Thanks for the review.

We paid a small fortune for a fuzzy logic rice cooker over 10 years ago. It has always made perfect rice and I have never been sorry I bought it. It finally died and I'll be looking for a new one when money is better.
