Greed Corp XBox 360 Review
Nina SayI had a great fun time reviewing the game "Greed Corp" for the XBox 360, it was an extremely fun and addicting turn based game... and it still is. Whenever I have a free moment I still play, and it has not gotten old yet! (That is a great sign, sometimes I will start playing a game and it gets really old/boring really fast, Greed Corp kept me interested and it still is doing a great job!)
Here is a little information about the game, from their website.
Greed Corp is a fresh and innovative turn-based strategy game for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC. It will be the first in a series of different types of games situated in a rich, fictional world inspired by the industrial revolutions and their destructive effects on the environment.
- Innovative land collapsing mechanic, creating intense strategic battles
- Earn Trophies and titles, playing as one of four factions in bite-sized matches of around 20 minutes
- 10+ hours single player campaign consisting of a tutorial and 24 unique maps
- Friendly and ranked 2, 3, and 4-player battles spread across 36 unlockable maps, supporting optional voice chat
- Further customize matches with any combination of local, online, and computer players (three difficulty levels)
I am going to go over their features listed and tell you what I thought of them.
- Intense Strategic Battles.
These were really fun, if battling is one of your favorite things to do while gaming then this game is something you will fall in love with! Saying that these battles are "intense" is a little bit of an understatement. They are downright brutal at times! You must stay on your toes!
- Trophies and Titles
Just what you need to show how great you are, literally! You must earn your trophies and titles but it is well worth it!
- 10+ Hour Campaign
Having a campaign that lasts such a long while means one thing to me: quality. Just look at certain RPG's that you buy for $59.95, they have anywhere from 40-50 hours of game play. The game only costs 800 Microsoft points (XBox 360) which is about $9.25 USD, so you are definitely getting more than a fair amount of campaign time.
- Friendly/Ranked Multiplayer Battles
This part was quite fun! My husband and I had quite a bit of fun with this! If you have another person close at hand when you play, I recommend jumping into a ranked battle! You can have up to 4 people!
For those of you who want a great game, without spending the big bucks... Greed Corp is a game for you! I am voting that you will love it!
