Tropical Traditions Strawberry Jam Review
Nina SayI recently wrote a review about Tropical Traditions delicious Raw Honey, and now with part two of three I am writing about the delicious Strawberry Fruit Spread! And I think I am in love with this company, as this is the second item I have tried and I am beyond impressed.
Usually when I wake up in the morning I like to eat something light, yet at least semi healthy so I can get a nice kick start to my day. So some toast with a nice jam or fruit spread is ideal. It fills me enough to get me going and it tastes great, well I honestly have not tasted a fruit spread that tasted as good as the one provided to me from Tropical Traditions, and just like their honey it has a very unique process of being made that the big manufacturers do not follow:
These organic Fruit Spreads are produced using hand-harvested heirloom varieties of fruit from select regions of Italy. The term “heirloom” describes a variety of fruit, flower or vegetable that has been grown in a certain region for centuries without any hybridization. The flavor of Italian heirloom fruit is sweet, intense and true. It speaks to the pride of the farmers who produce the fruits, and cannot be duplicated anywhere else in the world.
These organic Fruit Spreads have the lowest sugar content among leading brands. They are processed at low temperatures and cooked slowly to preserve the fruit’s rich flavor and bright color.
All of the fruit used in these spreads are grown on small family farms in remote hillside locations. Raw material can vary greatly in color, flavor and sweetness. Each batch must be reformulated to maintain a consistent and premier product. You may notice a slight variation at times in the fruit spread’s flavor and appearance as this product is made in very small batches.
The organic Fruit Spreads are a very versatile product. They are of course delicious on toast with jam or goat or cream cheese. You can add a tablespoon of fruit spread to plain yogurt for a fruity flavor that is less sweet. You can also add a bit to your sweeten your favorite smoothie. I absolutely love the care that this company provides for every single one of their products, that in itself is probably why this jam tasted so much better than the one sitting in my fridge from my local supermarket.
It is truly shocking when you taste something of such high quality such as this fruit spread, because it makes you realize what you are missing. Nature provides so much goodness and perfection in our fruits and Tropical Traditions makes sure that each morsel of that is still left in their products.
I can tell you that I love that spread so much that lately all my snacks have been things I can put it on... toast, pb&js and other creations I have thought up. Hands down, this is the best fruit spread I have ever tried. My jar is more than halfway gone!
