Justice Juels Anti Sex Trafficking Line
I recently got contacted by Chelsea, the owner and designer of Justice Juels, but I will tell you a little bit more about the company in a bit. I received a beautiful necklace to review, but not only are you going to read a review about the quality of the necklace... you are going to learn about the company and how you can help their cause... which is a great cause that is helping a very serious problem that faces many individuals in the world.
I received a beautiful Gold Broilette Necklace to review, and it means so very much to me. This piece is sold in the Justice Juels anti sex trafficking line, and every piece of jewelry sold helps the cause.
This necklace holds so much meaning... not only to me but to the creator and every person in this world that has been affected by sex trafficking. Sex trafficking is a serious crime, and the people being used for their bodies need help... they need to be saved. The necklace has an option to get your own personalized message on it but I chose to get the original "Freedom" message because I believe so firmly in doing everything I can for Chelsea and her company, she is doing such a great and selfless thing for all of the people trapped in trafficking organizations. I do not have money to give, but I do want to spread the word to as many people as I can, I have too I feel it is the least I can do.
Here is a little bit about the necklace:
This beautiful gold filled briolette necklace is stunning. Simple yet elegant, you are sure to get complements each time you wear it.
The 18 inch gold filled chain and rectangle charm complement the aquamarine briolette to make a stunning piece of art. The briolette is available in other colors by special request. Have the word, quote or phrase of your choice stamped on this piece to make it a one-of-a-kind original just for you.
Each piece is hand stamped so it will have a unique look of its own that you will not find anywhere else.
This is a great piece, and if any of you are looking to help Chelsea and her cause... this would be a great pick. It is a timeless piece thats style will live on forever to help those in need as long as they need help.
Now is the important part- I want to share with you some information that Chelsea herself sent me to share with you all. I firmly believe nobody could have written this, which is why I asked her to do a write up for me. Nobody understands her passion like she does, which is why it was crucial to hear this from her. Her thoughts are powerful and moving.
My name is Chelsea Dischinger and I am a stay-at-home mom. After my daughter was born I began to get a burden for children caught up in the sex trafficking industry. I don't know why but each day I could not stop thinking about these poor kids and so I finally told my husband that I felt I was supposed to do something about it. At first we looked into starting a non-profit, but quickly realized that there are already great organizations out there who are making a difference. The only problem they each have is a lack of funds to do all they want to make a huge impact. That is when the idea came to me to start a business to make money that I could then donate to these amazing organizations so they can do even greater work. Justice Juels is a handmade jewelry company that donates the majority of it's profits to organizations that rescue these children. Rather than going around asking for hand outs, I started a business so people can purchase a great product and make a difference at the same time. These poor kids are kidnapped, raped, beaten and sold for sex up to 20 times per day.
Our goal is to raise $1 million for the cause.
Justice Juels is all handmade jewelry that can be stamped with the wording of your choice. We not only make the items on our website, but we make specialized jewelry for weddings and events by special request. We use only the finest metals and materials. Every piece you see can be customized in hundreds of ways to create the perfect custom piece just for you.
I am a national ambassador for Stop Child Trafficking Now and they are the number one organization that we donate to, but I connect with any organization who is rescuing trafficking victims to help them raise funds. SCTNow is a unique organization because not only do they rescue the victims, but they go after the people who are buying and selling the kids. We need to rescue the kids, but we also need to put a stop to this industry in general. SCTNow does this by forming undercover task forces made up of ex marines, navy seals, etc... who want to help out. They go on undercover missions and collect evidence on the people who are kidnapping, buying and selling the kids. Then when they have all the evidence they need to convict them they hand it over to the FBI who makes arrests. The goal is to get these men off the street so there is no longer a demand for the kids. Without a demand there will be no reason to kidnap and sell the kids. SCTNow is the first organization to do something like this and I am so proud to support them.
Here are some facts on the trafficking industry:
Quick Facts
- Imagine if you were kidnapped and brought to country where you did not speak the language. You had no money, no legal documents or identification and no one you knew. You were then brought to a room filled with many other victims who were also held hostage and beat and raped and forced into sex slavery. That is the situation of hundreds of thousands of people today. Many people thought slavery ended in the US with the civil war, but it is still going on. In fact, it is probably going on in your own hometown this very minute.
- There are approximately 27 million people enslaved all over the world today. That is more than any other time in the history of the world.1
- The number of people trafficked in the United States each year is between 14,500 – 17,500. 2
- An estimated 1.2 million children are trafficked each year.
- Human trafficking is the third most profitable criminal activity, following only drugs and arms trafficking.
- Estimated global annual profits made from the exploitation of all trafficked forced labor are US$ 31.6 billion.1
- In 2006 there were only 5,808 prosecutions and 3,160 convictions throughout the world.1
- This means that for every 800 people trafficked, only one person was convicted in 2006.1
- More than 80% of trafficked victims are female.2

So please, if you can... help this cause. All you have to do is purchase an item from the Justice Juels and your money will go to good use. You can help at least one of those people that are enslaved and used for sex.
It saddens me that there are people being held as slaved, but it torments me to know that children are being used for sex.
Please do what you can to help.
