Cube Monsters Review

Thanks to the Game Review Network, I got the opportunity to review Cube Monsters. And let me tell you... it was a very unique experience. Part of me loved this game, and the other part was just weirded out. But I promise you been a little scared of the creepy music, monster screams, and space like worlds where there seems to be no end would not stop me from playing this fun puzzle game.

Here is a little bit of information on Cube Monsters:

What can we tell you about our new game, Cube Monsters?
Well, It has mosters in it. Oh yes, and cubes too.
People that played the game tell us it reminds them of Zuma, Bejeweled and Tetris, but none of those games have Cubes or Monsters in them so we have no idea what they're talking about...
Also - we think it's an extremely fun game. Then again, we made it so maybe we're not too objective.
What else can we tell you? Ummm...
Know what? Why don't you justĀ download the free demo and find out!

This game provides a fun puzzle experience with added dimensions that makes the game play all the more challenging and fun. The controls are a little bit odd because you never see your mouse or a cursor of any kind, but once you get the hang of it you are good to go.

The best part of the game is the creepy music and screams that come from the monsters you clear from the board. If I play this game in the middle of the night you better bet I am freaking myself out! But in my opinion that adds a realness factor to the fact that this is a game full of monsters, and you have to get rid of them!

The only real complaint I have is the levels last for a very long time, sometimes I need to get up but the same level I started ten minutes ago is still in play. But if longevity is something you look for in a game, then Cube Monsters is for you!

Overall this is a great game, that is laid back and challenging at the same time! And it is a definite keeper!

I received this review as a member of the Game Review Network. All opinions are my own and no compensation was received.
