I'm so sick of cheap doctors offices
Nina Say“Cheap Doctors” does not really make much sense, but after today I am so peeved with the local doctors…
This morning I was woken up by a crying baby at 6AM, but it was not only crying… she was vomiting all over herself. At this point I was scared and wondering what could be wrong with my poor baby. She refused to eat or drink anything the whole morning… so we ended up making her an appointment for a local clinic. The bad thing is this clinic is the only one that accepts Medi-Cal, so we had no choice.
When I got there at 11AM this morning I was told by the receptionist that the PA was an hour and a half behind, so there would be a long wait…
*sigh*
So we sit down and start the wait… and Zo was so pissed she had to stay in my lap. About an hour into the wait Zo started coughing, then she burped and started throwing up in the waiting area. I felt so bad for her… not only that I was really embarrassed!
I had to put her over the trash can and the ladies sitting at the counter did not care one bit… they ran out of tissues and did not even give me more to help clean up!
Finally at 12:45PM Zoey’s name was finally called… we were brought to a room only to wait another 20 minutes! Then when the doctor came in she looked at her for 5 minutes …gave us suppositories and left.
All that mess just to stick something up Zo’s butt.
Great. I cant wait to go to a doc that cares!

I've had the same experience a few years back, but with a dentist. It amazes me how they hired possibly the most rude receptionist ever. I also went to another dentist and discovered I had a few cavities that needed filling and wisdom teeth that needed to be yanked because they were impact. HM.
