Apple Cancelled my iPhone 4 Pre-Order

Unfortunately, I am one of those unlucky hopefuls that got my iPhone 4 pre-order cancelled, and lets just say I am not happy about it.

Like many, I received a very generic email notifying me of my orders cancellation:

Dear Customer,

We were unable to complete the authorization process for your iPhone
order. As a result, we had to cancel your iPhone order. To complete the
purchase of your iPhone, please visit an Apple Retail Store or an AT&T
company-owned retail store.

<http://www.apple.com/retail/storelist/>.

We apologize for this inconvenience.

I am very disappointed in this, as I have been looking forward to this phone since the early hints of its arrival.

I am hoping that sometime in the near future, either Apple or AT&T clarify the reason behind these random cancellations.

Maybe this is just a sign... a sign that I should wait for the white iPhone 4?

I'm getting one to in September. Right now I have a blackberry but really looking forward to having a iphone. I sometimes wonder why I want one cause I hardly ever use my blackberry.
