Reviews...What Do YOU Think?

Hey, all! It feels like it's been ages since I last logged in to see what's happening on TOF. I've been so busy, but that's no excuse! I really enjoy teaming up with Nina to bring you all the facts when it comes to products, and what's really worth spending your hard earned money on.
So I have a few questions for you. Why is it that you come here for your product buying advice? Is it Nina's comforting writing style, or her motherly perspective..or maybe you just stumbled upon The One Fantastical by accident, and kept reading more and more..? What is it that makes this the place you come to for advice?
I personally have noticed product reviews trending more and more recently, and have found myself wondering what it is customers are looking for when they research others' opinions about products that they are considering buying/trying out. I've found that I like not only TOF the best (because I mean, hello :P) but also AllReviews.com. I think I like it best because it's simple, straightforward, and not too fluffy. Sometimes that's exactly what you need...the straight facts.
Take me, for instance. I recently started cutting my hair extremely short, in a very severe cut. If I wanted to do it myself, I'd need a seriously nice pair of shears to do the job. Except oh wait, I know nothing about cutting hair. That's why I searched Hair Shears on AllReviews and read up a little bit. If I were going to buy a pair, I would totally go with the Kamisori Shears, thanks to the reviews I checked out.
I guess I'm just saying, it's nice to get a little perspective and see where you guys are coming from. Also, thanks for actually caring about my opinion of products. That means a lot :)

I really like reading reviews of products before I try them out! I search for product reviews all the time!
I like reading reviews from "real people" because it helps me decide if I would actually want it!
I like reading reviews from real people. After all, if they think it sucks, I'm not going to spend my $$$.
me too. i especially trust Nina's reviews, and I hope people trust mine!
