UPDATE: This is a great program. But because of unfixable bugs, I have stopped using it. Still feel free to try it out, as you may have different results. But be forwarned.
Gimp! Let’s just say that is my new favorite word. For somebody like me (…and probably many of you) graphic design has always been something fun to dabble with. But running that hobby off of Photo shop and Print Shop Pro trials gets really old, really fast. I honestly thought that I wouldn’t find a program with as much potential as PS until now. (At least one that you wont go to jail for pirating 
)
But then, thanks to one out of the blue Google search, Gimp came into my life.
Gimp is a full feature photo editing program. It is freeware, so there is never a fee. And there are thousands of fonts and brushes you can download for free!

I’ve been using GIMP for a while now, and it has never given me any problems. You have to get used to it (especially if you’ve been using paint shop pro for a while) but for me it has always been amazing.
When the program opened, i LOVED it.. it was just that it would always freeze when I tried opening it. Went through many uninstall/reinstall cycles. And different versions. It just wouldn’t run on my computer. Which made me sad =(
I don’t really care for Gimp I like many other programs better!
