IMoo Application Review

If you know me, you know that I love playing with new IPhone applications. So of course when I was offered the opportunity to review the IMoo app I was excited! The IMoo application is based off the classic “Cow in a can” game where you turn the can upside down, hear a “moo” then turn it upright again and hear another “moo.”

This app does exactly that, but so much more! When I first downloaded the app I started turning the phone upside down and back again and I thought it was the cutest thing I had ever seen. The next test was to let my daughter play with it. She is almost a year old, and she loves playing with her daddy’s phone. So I gave it to her, and her eyes lit up brighter than I had ever seen and she started laughing when she heard the sound that it makes. I’d say that is a thumbs up on the Zoey factor.

Another cool feature that this application has is that you can record your own sounds for the can. We decided to record a few random things, first being my daughter babbling. That was adorable to be able to hear what my daughter had to say over and over again whenever I wanted. But the fun did not end there, the next thing I recorded was my husband sleeping. He was not too happy about this but my daughter enjoyed playing with it. Every time she hears her Daddy snoring she makes a funny face and lays her head down on her hands. It is amazing the things that children pick up from their surrounding.

I think this app is a nice fun way to make people laugh, entertain yourself or to just bring back old memories of the “Cow in the can”
