I have been a total fan of Softlips since high school. I carry them religiously in my purse. I was told about the Holiday limited edition flavors and I was completely thrilled because I had not seen these anywhere around my town. So this opportunity was especially special.
The Holiday limited edition pack includes the following flavors:
- Vanilla and Winter Mint
- Sugar and Spice and Vanilla
- Sugar Plum Berry and Cherry
- Cherry and Sugar Cookie
It was quite a selection and I loved every minute of trying them out! My lips smelled great and always had a new and refreshing scent! Here are my thoughts on each:
Vanilla and Winter Mint: This one was very familiar to me out of the bunch. My normal flavor of Softlips is French Vanilla so it seemed very similar. The mint scent was not very strong, but it was just right. I could also tell that there was a hint of mint because my lips started tingling more than ever. And that is a very enjoyable experience, in my honest opinion. I think that this flavor is great but it was not much of a change for me. So if you are a hard core French Vanilla softlips fan, this would be the flavor for you.
Sugar and Spice and Vanilla: I did not care for this flavor too much. There was way too much “spice” and not enough sugar and vanilla. Hm, that kind of shows I have a sweet tooth doesn’t it? But on the other side of the coin, I have spoke to other people who have tried this and it is their new favorite. It has a musky sort of smell and that just doesn’t appeal to me. But that is just me, you may love it!
Sugar Plum Berry and Cherry: This one came in second in my list of favorites. It was very sweet smelling and it stayed that way until my lips dried up again. The blend of the Sugar Plum Berry and Cherry was amazing. My husband even commented on my lips smelling great, and that is a very odd comment to get… “Hey baby, your lips are smelling so good right now” Psh.. yeah right! I know that I will try to get some more of this flavor so I can stock up. I really love it!
Cherry and Sugar Cookie: This flavor is my absolute favorite. I don’t really care for cherries much to eat, but I love the smell of them. And the smell of sugar cookies reminds me of home and Christmas time as a child. And those were some of my favorite times as a child. I think this one smelled the best out of the lot. The only downfall is the fact that it made me hungry! This is the point when I wanted to call my mom and ask her to start baking for Christmas NOW!
These products would be great stocking stuffer for any girl or mom alike! I have always been, and am still all for stocking up on Softlips.
