I am making a promise to myself, starting from the moment this post is published that my blog will no longer be pure product reviews. I have become lost and have forgotten why I started blogging in the first place – I have forgotten the simple things.
Now more than ever I want to show people what I am about, who I am. I feel like the reason nobody knows me is because I do not put myself out there for them to get to know. So I am going to start here- And give you a few details about me. And I hope you all see this as my introduction, as I am really hoping to start making friends and building relationships with my readers and fellow bloggers.
- I am a young mother, and it has never been a subject people praise me for… but here it is: I got pregnant at 17 while I was still in high school. Yes I am still trying to figure things out but my little Zoey is the best thing that ever happened to me… well also her father.
- I met my husband Bryan when I was 8 years old, when I moved in next door to him. When he moved I thought I’d never see him again, but when he started renting that house from his father when I was 16 we were reunited and we have been together ever since then. I am very thankful to have found the love of my life.
- I was born in North Carolina, and moved to California when I was 3 years old. I can tell you right now, I like North Carolina better. There are more trees, and it rains more. ‘Nuff said.
- As you can tell, I love the rain. Most find it depressing but nothing lifts my mood better than the rain, and nothing relaxed me more as well.
- I have a love of the arts, all throughout my school days I was in love with drama and band. I played the flute and rocked a mean monologue. My dream was to become an actress but that changed the night I had my daughter, now I want to be a labor and delivery nurse and help women bring their angels into this world.
This is who I am, and I have grown so much in the last 15 months since the day my daughter blessed my existence. I am loving the little things now that I have learned to appreciate them again.
So, it is nice to meet you my name is Nina Say, I am 19 years old and I will be 20 in August. I am a bit younger than most of my peers in this blogosphere but I feel I am more than qualified to make my mark… and hopefully gain friends along the way.

I love u Nina! And I’m so proud of u! Uve had to grow up so fast to b a mommy & a wife. It’s not easy…. At all!!!! Sometimes I know that stayin afloat is not enough…. But I promise that soon enough everything will come together. Ur doing a wonderful job. Zoey is amazing!!!! Together…. As a family…. U three will conquer so much!!!!

Hehe awesome. I was 21 when I had my son. Younger then a lot of the moms I knew or talked to. They didn’t really approve of it either. They kinda looked down on me. But you sound awesome. Good luck
And keep on truckin! You’re doin great.
I praise you for being a wonderful mother, devoted wife, and loving daughter.
Awww, your daughter is beautiful! Thanks for sharing about yourself
It’s always nice to know a little more about the writers behind the blogs I frequent.
wow – just “met” you – totally didn’t realize you were so young. I think it’s very cool, though. I think it’s actually rather odd how so many women (myself included) have a rather long period prior to marrying and having children. I’m 31 and would love to be a young mom
so be glad! I don’t intend to stop having kids just b/c I’m older, but do think it’s more natural to start when you’re younger. Anyway… cute blog and I’m entering the Tropical Traditions coconut oil giveaway
