Youda Fairy Review

[ 1 ] 03/01/2010 | NinaSay

I am a complete lover of video games – no matter what console. I had the opportunity to review Youda Fairy for the PC and had a great time doing so! This game has a lot of fun features, and an amazingly addictive story line for the price! Here is a little bit about the game:

The wise old forest wizard has provided a watchful eye over the kingdom for over 1000 years. Together with his fairies he has been protecting the innocent villagers from the strange and dark forces controlled by the evil witch. This epic battle between the forces of good and evil is as old as time itself, but now the kingdom is danger. The Forest Wizard must leave the kingdom and he is now seeking a replacement. He wants you to become the new forest wizard and guard the kingdom against the wicked enchantments and spells of the evil witch.

The gist of this game is very simple, you collect fireflies in the many different ponds. Those fireflies are used to create fairy’s, whenhave enough fairy’s you use them to make the villagers happy and save them from the wicked witch that has been terrorizing them since the wizard passed on.

As I am sure you can guess, it got highly addicting.  The part that I love the most is the ponds, you have to collect and protect your fireflies at the same time and avoid creatures like lizards and frogs so you can complete the stage. You have to learn to manage your time and stay on top of all of your fairy’s and fireflies. Not only is Youda Fairy addicting, it is challenging as well.

The great people at Youda also provide a high score system so you can compare your scores against other players online, that in itself created a lot of motivation for me to better my score. It is a fun single player game, that can make you want to better your hardcore gaming skills.

This game is something you can play for a long time… and they have a lot of extremely fun features:

  • 60 levels of challenging game play
  • 6 ponds and 4 villages
  • Magic environments
  • Powerful Spells & Mighty Power-ups
  • Beautiful designs
  • Enchanted Animals
  • Wand and Lily upgrades

I think you should definitely try this game, you can download the free trial and see if you like it!
